The Jimenez Family

Every year we look forward to our time spent at Topsail.
And this year...we got to do it TWICE.
We went earlier this year in May with my parents. And then our dear friends, the Williams, offered us some time to go AGAIN.

And we jumped at the chance!
I drove down with Jackson and Hailey and met Zana down there.

Unfortunately, we had a little bit of a wild goose chase trying to get into the beach house.
The key that we had taken was the wrong one to get into the door.
Thankfully, there was a spare.
It just took some work to find it.
Then...once we got into the house...we quickly realized that the air conditioner was broken!
So needless to say, it wasn't quite as peaceful as normal.

But the ocean was right where we left it.
The sand was still accepting of our toes.
And the water was calling inviting us in!

Zana stayed for a few days and then Jason brought down Tyler and Amy.
We put fans in all the rooms...and spent as much time in the water as we could!

The tubes were so much fun!

If you could stay on them!

And of course, boogie boarding.

I have to say though...my personal favorite are the sunset walks.
With bellies filled with ice cream and a cappuccino in hand

watching the sky turn beautiful colors of purple, pink and blue.
The best of our Creator's artwork on display!

The beach definitely slows down our pace.
Tyler doesn't usually have time for puzzles with work and school.

As long as I supply the Fractured Prune doughnuts...he completes the puzzle! ;-)

All too soon it's our last sunset walk before packing up and heading home.

I am so grateful for the sweet time of memories with my favorite people at our happy place!!
