How to make an apple pie...

We have been reading How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World this week in school. It was a fun book and introduced the kids to a number of different countries. We used the book for several activities...but of course, the finale was...making our own mini apple pies!


Thankfully the market was open...and we didn't have to travel too far for our ingredients!

Jackson just watched...and drooled! :-)

Fresh out of the oven...too hot to eat!



So good!!!



And we DID have cream with our apple pies...whipped cream!


We had our apple pies...and then read the book and saw the world! :-)
