Creative History...

Over the last few weeks, we have studied the life of Joseph, the slavery of the Israelites in Egypt, and the exodus of the Israelites.
While studying Joseph...we decided to make our own "shirts" of many colors!

I am either a chicken...or lazy when it comes to crafts...and so we actually didn't "legit" tie-dye. We tumble dyed them...which I think was created just for me!!! :-)

We rubber-banded them and then sprayed them with several colors.

The process was obviously taken very seriously!

The results were beautiful!!!
But as history (and the Bible) tells us...after Joseph died, the position of the Israelites turned from friend to slave in Egypt.

And the evil Egyptian Pharoh made the Israelites work long hours in the harsh sun...

making brick after brick...

after brick...after brick...
But then...

God set His people FREE!!! :-)
Hopefully...out of all this...they learned something!
(More than just how to make tie-dye shirts!)
