Date night...party of six...
It's been a long week.
Jason has traveled quite a bit lately and our time together has been filled with different commitments.
It is the season of life we are in...although I am wondering if it is just life period.
We had decided that we needed a date night.
Just the two of us...time to be able to finish a conversation.
But that afternoon, we decided that what we really needed was a FAMILY date night.
No chores.
No cooking.
No cleaning up.
Just hanging out with each other...
being silly and having fun...
as a family.
I am a HUGE fan of date nights...but sometimes I think we look forward to "getting away".
Longing for the quiet moments and looking past the cumulative memories that slip past unnoticed.
I want to take advantage of these special times. Spending intentional time together.
Cultivating meaningful conversation. Enjoying the personalities of each of our children.
Going on a date with a party of six.
