Cards by Amy...

On Sunday night, I was trying to get everyone to their respective classes...somewhat on time! :-)

As we were walking towards the sanctuary we saw some of our friends - also trying to herd  gather their children!

One of our little friends made a diversion into the bookstore and quickly came back out asking her daddy to puleeze by a book for her.

Her daddy said no.

Enter Miss Pat.

(For those of you that don't know...Miss Pat Collins just LOVES children!)

She overheard the exchange and offered to buy said book.

Of course, Amy, watched this entire transaction...and managed to find herself...where else...in the bookstore!!! Hoping that Miss Pat's generosity encompassed her too!

(All the while, I am looking high and low for Amy - wondering where she could have gotten to!)

Finally I found my lost daughter in the bookstore...with a book and a Scripture rock in hand...and a very generous benefactress!!!

Miss Pat blessed FIVE children that night with her kindness.

Amy decided right away that she would write a thank you card for her.

Jason has been really sick for the last week. He spent most of the time in bed...barely concious. We were a bit worried...but he finally seems to be doing better. Amy made this card for him...complete with a photo she snuck out of a photo album!!!

Very simply put. But it is exactly what he needed to hear!
I think this is what turned him around! :-)
