Back to the books...

Quiet down please...sit in your seats...open your books...and we will begin...with the

school year of 2017-2018!

Tyler will be in 8th grade.

Amy in 7th grade.

Jackson in 3rd grade.

Hailey in 1st grade.

I tend to be a bit more excited than the kids about starting school.

I love returning to schedules...predictability (somewhat)...and less travel!!

I love quiet evening walks before all of the craziness of sports starts!

With the new school year, brought a pretty exciting promotion...Hailey-girl moved UPSTAIRS at church.

First graders move up to the CarmelKidz program and to get them familiar with their teachers, songs, and activities...they have a preview night.

So we had a little date night with our special first grader...

which ended in an ice cream party! So much fun!!

Each of the first graders were given a little prize after going on a scavenger hunt.

The prize? A whistle...that Hailey took with her everywhere this week...including Costco!

Now that everyone knows where they're going at church...and all the school books have arrived...and notebooks bought...pencils sharpened...its time to start school!!!
