Mom,
I never realized how much time and energy it took you
to make homemade Chorizo for us EVERY year...
...now I do!
I had no idea all that you did to make sure
we had all our special Christmas treats...
...now I do!
I took for granted how excited you made all of us
for over flowing our stockings with fun toys and trinkets...
...but now I don't!I never knew how many stores you had to go to
to pick out all the most perfect gifts...
...now I do!!
I never stopped to think how many trips you had to make
back and forth to church for our Christmas programs, rehearsals, parties, etc...
...now I do!!I did not comprehend the diligence needed to round us up
every night for family devotions...
...now I do!!Mom,
I ALWAYS knew that Christ was the most important part of the Christmas season
the most important part of our home
and the most important part of your life!!
Thank you for the legacy you passed on to me...so that I can pass it onto my family!
