Final days...

It's hard to say goodbye when you've had such a good time in the sun...

hanging out with your cousins being silly...

gardening with your Grammie...

getting to ride the dune buggy through the desert...

and just being a Jimenez.

It's hard to say goodbye after snuggling up with Poppy...

eating huge family dinners...

getting to hang with even more cousins...

and spoiled by Grammie..

and laughing with these guys..

and just being a Brunenkant.

The last few days flew by just like they always do. Trying to squeeze in that last hug...that meaningful conversation...those precious memories.
The last Sunday we were there, Jason was invited to speak at our old church, Calvary Christian Fellowship.

This is where I met Jason.
Where his ministry started.
Where loving brothers and sisters poured into our lives and cheered us on.

It was a sweet time to catch up...

with some precious friends!

And then afterwards....EL MOLONITOS...of course!!

The restaurant was packed with the Jimenez clan...friends...and Brunenkants!

Conversations were started and interrupted and forgotten and started again...

but it was a great (loud) time!!

Then it was farewell to Arizona and back on the road again..

Thankfully, we were able to spend some time with our friends, the Richardsons, in San Antonio!

Even though we were tired from our trip...and tired from being in the car cross-country...
the time spent with our dear friends was just what we needed to get us safely home!!
