Bluegrass fun...

Jason was asked to be the speaker at Camp Nathanael for Family Bible Conference.
With our friends, the Richardsons, just recently moving to Louisville, we decided to make a "slight" detour and head there first!!

We had such a great time swimming...eating...laughing...

slurping up some Steel-City Pops...

playing games...hiking...

eating some more...watching movies...telling stories...

and just catching up.
Spending time with Ty and Macy was definitely a highlight of our summer.
We love to hear how God has moved in their lives...how they are learning and growing...and how God is using them to minister to others.
We left that weekend feeling loved on and refreshed.
Then it was onto Camp Nathanael for Family Bible Conference!

We made a quick stop in JACKSON to eat lunch!

We ate at a locally owned cafe - Kelsey's on Main.
It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
They had a brunch buffet with anything and everything you could think of for breakfast.
All homemade!
Once we were completely stuffed...we finally made it to Camp Nathanael!!

Jason did an incredible job speaking during this week.
He hit on some difficult topics like bitterness and forgiveness - all the while lovingly calling the church to action.

And while he wasn't teaching...we were all busy having a blast at camp.

Horseback riding...

painting...

being silly...

making leather art...

and shrinky dinks...

that is EVERYONE's favorite...

especially Jason!

Whitney and Miranda let Hailey help out in the dining room...

which she loved!
When I first started working at Camp Nathanael (over twenty years ago)
I worked as a dining room hostess!
Maybe Hailey will follow in those same footsteps in a few years :-)

It was a fun week to catch up with old friends.
Jessica and Beth-Ann were among the first people I met years and years ago at Camp.

Josh, Jason, Larry and Daniel
Thankful for each of these guys and the impact they have had and continue to have on everyone that comes to camp!

Jason finishing up the week.
It was a blessing to be able to sit under his teaching.
Most of the time he travels on his own and we don't get to hear him.
But Tyler, Amy and myself were so thankful to be with him and to hear him for this week!
