A Barnyard Wedding...

Yesterday our family attended a wedding of a sweet young couple completely sold out for the Lord. Daniel, the groom, has served faithfully in the youth group alongside of us since Jason became the youth pastor. His bride, Mindy, set apart a year of her life to full-time ministry at her church. Together they are just an amazing couple...very talented and creative.

Their wedding was at a church up in Concord...but outside...in a barn!!! Everything was very casual and relaxed. The barn was decorated for the event and there were signs everywhere leading up to the barn that Mindy had designed herself!

The wedding ceremony was simple but completely encompassed the Gospel message. It was such a great time to talk with our two little ones about marriage, promises, God's rules, and purity. No...we did not go into great detail about everything...but their curious little minds asked so many questions and just soaked it all up. It was a great example for them about how God wants His people to come together!

After the wedding, the guests were invited to find a blanket...and have a picnic. It was so much fun! There were several other friends from our church so we all shared a blanket and just had a great afternoon.
