Sunshine and sickness...

The long awaited sun made an appearance this weekend. With warmth on the forecast we decided to plan a picnic. We wanted to make sure we soaked up every bit of beautiful weather before it disappeared!

The word "picnic" translates into Bojangles chicken in our family! Jason reasoned that just sandwiches would loose the ambiance of the picnic! So with our chicken and biscuits in hand we headed to the sunny benches to eat our yummy lunch.

Jackson just scavenged from table to table...checking out what EVERYONE brought to the picnic. He wasn't too sure that chicken was the best there was!

Soon our friends arrived and made the picnic a super fun time!

Off to the playground and then onto the football fields!

Amy and Sophie stayed clear of the boys and had their own "games" they played! :-) Watch out for these two in years to come!!!

After a fun afternoon we headed home. We had barely walked in the door when Tyler burst into tears complaining of a headache and sore throat. So it was off to bed for him - and back to hibernation for us. At least we were able to enjoy the sun while it lasted!!!
